The Greater Cairo Library in Zamalek hosted the event "Seminar and Discussion of the Mamluk Architecture.. Sultan Hassan Madrassah in Cairo", During which Dr. Tarek Waly presented a reading about the Sultan Hassan Madrassah as a model of the Mamluk architecture in Cairo, in addition to presenting the history of the madrassah, its origins, and what historians, archaeologists and architects wrote about it, as well as highlighting the different aspects of the madrassah to include its site, history, architecture and design, moving from that to extrapolating the geometric orders of the Madrassah.
The event included the presentation of a short film on the geometric orders of Sultan Hassan Madrassah, and it was concluded by open discussion with the attendees.
