The Architect, the Artist & the Humanist

In cooperation with the American University in Cairo and the Architecture Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture, Tarek Waly Center Architecture and Heritage organized an evening and an exhibition to celebrate the centenary of the late Egyptian architect Ramses Wissa Wassef under the title “Ramses Wissa Wassef… the architect.. the artist.. the human.” The activities of the exhibition continued From November 1 to 11, 2012, during which samples of the various creatures of the architect Ramses Wissa Wassef were presented, in addition to samples of the production by the Ramses Wissa Wassef Arts Center in Harraniya.. The exhibition included a screening of a documentary film entitled “Ayoub Al-Harraniya”, a film produced by Tarek Waly Center Architecture and Heritage, which presents the unique experience of Ramses Wissa Wassef. The exhibition concluded with an evening about the late architect, in which Dr. Tarek Waly gave a seminar entitled "A Journey with the Experience of Ramses Wissa Wassef - Reading the Keys to the Personality of the Architect, the Artist, and the Human", followed by a joint presentation in which the architect Ikram Noshy and the architect Ramses Noshy presented their experience in the revival of Habib Georgi Museum in Harraniya.
