Tarek Waly Center Architecture and Heritage, in cooperation with Dr. Mai Hawas and the Cinema Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture, participated in organizing an evening entitled The World of Shady Abdel Salam. The evening included a presentation about Shady Abdel Salam, the human and the artist, followed by a screening of the film “From the World of Shady Abdel Salam” directed by Nabiha Lotfy. A number of Shadi Abdel Salam’s companions, participants in the experience, and his fans participated in the evening, such as the sculptor Dr. Mohamed Mabrouk, Professor of Sculpture at the College of Art Education, and Dr. Khaled Shukry, Professor Assistant in the Music Composition Department at the Conservatoire Institute, and cinematic decor designer Onsi Abu Seif, who shared their vision of Shady Abdel Salam's world with the audience in an open dialogue after the screening of the film.
